Can a character living in the EU be a citizen of one country and own a house within another/live module time in attendance?
I am currently a citizen of the U.S., but I'm thinking about becoming a citizen of Ireland or the U.K. If I do this, could I live in/be a citizen of Ireland, for instance, and also own a home in Switzerland, for instance. If yes, could I live in Switzerland constituent of the time, because I know EU citizens can travel freely throughout the EU. Thanks.

switzerland is not a EU country it is neutral
Unless one of your parents is from the UK or Ireland, you can't just become a citizen. You first would enjoy to find a company willing to sponsor you for a work visa or have at least a masters point and be eligible for a highly skilled migrant visa. Then you would have to live there continuously for 6 years past you would be able to apply for citizenship. During this time you would not be able to live part of the time within another country as you are only allowed a limited number of days out of the country in instruct to count towards your residency
Yes, but Switzerland is not part of the EU. You can have UK citizenship and have a house contained by, for example, France, and live there part of the year.
