Is there any way to join the US armed forces lacking having a green card?
I've heard stories of people applying for green cards while here without permission and getting some sort of a number that they give to recruiters and it allows them to enlist why applying for a green card.
what are some ways a illegal immigrant can join?

Answers:
In order to join the US armed forces you obligation to be a permanent resident or a US citizen. You cannot join if you are illegal, or here on a visa. The Armed forces may backing speed up the process from Resident to citizen in some cases, but the advice that you can join if you are unauthorized and they will somehow try to help you become legal is false.
They don't hire illegal immigrates necessarily but they speed up the process of legalization if you do link, and they will work with you to help you become legalized if you serve a specific amount of time. When it comes to hiring or enlisting illegals, I'm not 100% sure what they do, I don't believe so but I don't enjoy solid evidence that they don't.

My friend is 17 and going to be 18 in october does he qualify [or already have] for a green card even if his parents and no other family members own one? If so what is the best way to go about doing this? He moved from Brazil something...
