Why don't the US marines count as a potential employer when attempting to come by a green card?

Answers:
because what happen if that person is denied for medical reasons (of which there are many)
Because you aren't in the US Marine Corps and they won't even talk to you until you grasp your green card, FIRST. You haven't taken the ASVAB Test at MEPS and you haven't passed the physical examination. You have absolutely no model if you're qualified until the time comes to actually enlist.

It would be like me claiming a potential lottery jackpot in subsequent week's powerball as evidence I can support myself.
In a way...yes.
You need to be a permanent resident, that is enjoy a green card, before you can join the US armed forces. Your previous experience won't help. In reality as you have already been trained to do things one way it would be harder to break down that conditioning and turn you into a US Marine.
You should definitely contact the Marines directly before you even consider going over to join the forces, especially since you own prior service with our country's forces. In many countries (such as the U.K.) participation surrounded by another country's armed forces disqualifies you from entering service in that country. For example, a friend who was in the Greek army does not qualify to serve contained by the UK Army. Best to check before you spend loads of dosh on visas that never materialise. Source(s): A UK Army recruiter.
Are you saying you want to get a green card so you can become a Marine?
Military service is not considered "employment" in the traditional definitation. Also, only Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) and US Citizens can serve in the Marines. I believe that in attendance are some allowances during time of war for an illegal alien serving honorably in the US Military to still make a purchase of US Citizenship.
i don't comprehend
Because you enjoy to be a citizen to join the US Marines. Take a citizenship class.
Because any idiot can join the military, there's no qualifications. In reality I'd rather not have some illegal immigrant pretending he's joining so he can keep my country.
