If i hold a german passport can i live at uk or france or any eu state?

would it be easier for a german citizen to get a permit rather than a non-eu guy?
Answers:
Because of the EU, you should be capable of live and work wherever you want in any EU country, just similar to if I live in California and decide to immigrate to Washington.

As a member of the EU, you are given favor over, say-so, me. If you and I were both applying for a job in France as a waiter, you would be given deference over me because you are German and I am American. I would enjoy to apply for permits, etc., where you would not.

Hope that helps. Source(s): Done this previously. When I lived overseas, I applied for a position at a huge international company. I knew the director personally, and even though we were great friends and he considered necessary to hire me, he had to, by law, accept one of the 1300 applicants that be already residents of the EU.
that is what the European Union is all about..you are free to live /work where you wish.just as I do (french citizen and US)
