Where do I apply for a British passport?
born in England,came to Australia in 1950 5mths aged on parents passport never had one of my own.

Contact the UK Embassy in Canberra - you will requirement to fill out a form (you can find this online) but you will need to send them your birth warrant (stating birth in the UK).

You need to apply at the British consulate, use Google to find their web page. They used to hold laws that dictated the cut off point for applications pertaining to citizenship, however, they were more nonjudgmental on males than females. Maybe those laws have changed?
