A fence won't stop the illegal immigration and the drugs flowing over the border. It would be better to station the national guard on the border. Screw whether Mexico or Canada likes it or not. Our national warranty is being breached and sovereignty being threatened.
Why should the American citizens have their rights erroded and privacy invaded for this fictitious War on Terrorism and informal immigration problem to appease Mexico and Canada over us putting our troops at the borders?

If people kept coming into your house and stealing your things, killing members of your familial, trashing your house, etc. would you lock the door or continue to leave it open? Same principal! Actually, that fence is nowhere near as contiguous as the great wall of China. It was a political placation to the ultra conservatives so that they could go past the bill that will loosen the border controls.
