When will we win to know if our application is rejected as per the trial canadian immigration rules ?
i applied under skilled worker class in august 2008, but now my advocate tells me the required skill worker categories have changed, and he have not received a file number. so does this mean my application will be rejected and if so around when will i get to know going on for it ??

he needs to wait - 4months is not long enough to be processd.
he should return with a letter from CIC stating why you were denied.
I think he is newly being impatient.
CIS can take quite a long time to process.
First ask him to verify (show you the proof) that he DID apply.
You call for to see proof that CIC DID receive your application.
and second, if he does show you the proof, then tell him to wait until august 2009. You should achieve a file number by then.
There are stories floating around of some people whose lawyer did NOT EVEN send in the application. The lawyers a short time ago took the money and did NOTHING!! Source(s): PR in Canada
