First, application cannot be able to make an appointment. USCIS dispatch you an appointment date.
And they are called Immigration Officer, or Immigration Adjudicator Officer.

You are asking questions that no one in the current audience horizontal can answer. A problem with asking any question about Immigration is that it is complicated and the impressively best place to ask is... Immigration itself. Get a long distance card and ask. OR... do a search and ask Immigration itself.. it is online.
If you can ask your question around 9 AM New York Time, you may catch an Immigration Officer online here out of cool interest BUT this is NOT,,,,,is NOT an offical Immigration site.

Currently, by the way, it is 3:28 AM in New York. A little impulsive to catch anyone. Cheers..
So what you would approaching to do is the paperwork part. Dealing with the immigrants files, and doing the interviews etc. the interviewers are Adjucation Officers, and I believe they enjoy to hold bachelors degrees. just go to www.uscis.gov or usajobs.com and you can see for yourself what they are looking for. I give attention to that getting a job with uscis is quite tricky, but I think it would be a good job to hold.I am pretty interested in that aspect of the immigration process myself, as an immigrant I have dealt near a lot of the forms and the whole process got me thinking!
disappointingly for me, you have to be a citizen in order to acquire a job with them, so i have a couple years to hang about :)
your questions are not answered because they are not clear. no one have time to start figuring out what you are trying to say!
