If we engender Mexico the 51st State, will that stop Illegal immigration?
There is prime coastal real estate in that country, with a desirable climate. Trillions of dollars could be made, and this is worth looking into.

Here's an alternative plan: I say we go and annex Cabos San Lucas...............and leave the rest.
perhaps not making Mexico a 51 ( they would probably be 5 states ) state , but perhaps creating a partnership in which the USA would invest billions into every touristic place contained by Mexico which would make it more attractable to tourists with the promise of giving a percentage of the profit to the USA for certain time of time . make Mexico more touristic and greener and also invest in making it more secure ( smaller number violent ) which is exactly what is keeping a lot of investors out of Mexico . in my inference this would be something which would work out pretty well .
I'm adjectives for this .. the untapped mineral resources, the oil reserves, the beautiful climate... Mexico would be a real entrap! Too bad after we conquered it beyond Mexico City during the Mexican-American War, we had to be nice and give it put a bet on to them!

US law enforcement has not be able to stem the rise in US addiction population, and drugs are more available in the US very soon after decades of the War on drugs. What make you think they would be more effective surrounded by Mexico !
Also the current melt down of the US economy, shows the vast amount of corruption here contained by the United States.
US citizens have no right to cast stones at Mexico ,when the US is a glass house of Corruption.

Hello Guys, My Spouse applied for my Immigration 'for Canada'.'We were in Canada',Now she is in Canada and i am outside Canada 'waiting for the process to be done'.my medical are done in MARCH,09.. and now is 20th august,09. she cheked with surrounded by Canada Immigration and they are saying they hav got my whole 'processed file'from my country...
