Is this do for the rest of America Immigrant groups decry fingerprint sharing policy?
PHILADELPHIA — Some lawmakers in Philadelphia are joining immigrant advocacy groups in aversion of a new policy where city police turn over to federal authorities the fingerprints of immigrants who are arrested.
The "Secure Communities" program allows local authorities access to federal criminal and immigration collection when they take suspects' fingerprints during the booking process. Federal immigration officials say the hope is to identify criminals for deportation.
The Pennsylvania Immigration Citizenship Coalition say the program will make it more likely that immigrant who witness crimes will refuse to cooperate with police.
Several members of Philadelphia City Council say the program promotes fear of police in immigrant communities.

I wonder what the rest of America is suppose to be thinking do we now stop adjectives fingerprinting of anyone arrested ? If this promotes fear of police in immigrant communities , how about everybody else other communities breaking canon, do they not even arrest them now ? My gosh if an illegal kills somebody, they do not want ICE to know ? If an illegitimate is driving drunk and causes a fatal crash ,are these people proverb, no you don't report this to ICE, it will promotes fear of police in immigrant communities ? http://www.fortmilltimes.com/124/story/7…

That is such a weak argument. Illegals are not going to bring any where near police because of they fear anyone deported. Even in they witnessed or are victims of a crime they are not going to report it.
A person on parole stays clear of police also, because they do not want to be violated and sent back to prison. Any one breaking the imperative is going to stay as far away from law enforcement as possible, that's just the way it is.
The general public of Philadelphia need to force their city gov to change the law. Any informal arrested for any reason should be turned over to law enforcement.
