What is processing time for US citizens applying for Syrian tourist visa contained by the UAE?
We live in the UAE (Dubai), with american passports. Have flights and hotel booked for damascus in two weeks time. Syrian embassy legitimate told me processing time for americans is minimum one month (couuld take longer), as application gores to foreign office in syria.
Should we repeal plans, or still apply ?

well, if they told you it could take a month, and you're planning on leaving within 2 weeks, that sounds like a problem. of course, Syria and the US are trying to play nice with respectively other lately. maybe that will work in your favor. nice place though. I highly recommend going if you can.
