Amnesty...............?
in favor or against?
Answers:
I'm against amnesty for iffy immigrants the same as I would be for a burglar who breaks into someones house, steals a lot of things, after gets off free if he gives a small portion of those things put a bet on while keeping the majority.
Against amnesty, for certain. The U.S., surrounded by general, does not forgive crimes from its own citizens, so why should foreigners merit a free pass?
CharlieG: Would you give your house, motor, wife, children, clothing, community, community & government services to a foreigner? No? But you are willing to give up American job to foreigners and American jobs are what U.S. citizens must have to support having adjectives the aforementioned goodies.
Oh, but , many idiots say, the jobs that we impart to Guest Workers from foreign nations are the jobs that Americans don't want anyway. Well, in these times of large unemployment maybe that statement is not quite true anymore. In any satchel, necessity is the mother of invention so if certain industries (particularly the farm industry) want to attract American workers they'll just hold to ante up and offer wages decent enough to attract American workers to their fruit farm fields. So what if lettuce will cost a few cents more. Wouldn't it be worth it to put more Americans back to work?
Another fallacy is that products will cost a lot more if we deny work to foreign stoop laborers. True, certain products might increase in price somewhat, but those increases will be correct by the disappearing administrational costs of dealing with foreign labor worker programs. It costs the taxpayers (Not the farmers) a LOT of money to deal with these wetbacks! You don't see the businesses that exploit these workers offering to pay packet all the expenses of dealing with these programs, do you? Is there anybody out nearby who personally knows of even one business, that employs wetbacks, that sent a check to Washington, D.C.( (checks sent to lobbyists do not count) to minister to pay for the expense of giving American jobs away so that their business could have cheap labor?
Americans support the Mexican and Central American economy more than enough by spending plenty of bucks at foreign vacation resorts and when cruise ships make port call. Our government should be threatening an American boycott of these vacation spots if the Mexican government doesn't discourage their citizens from jump our borders..... We help their economy enough in need having to give them American jobs as economically..........
Pro-business idiots in our nation's capitol cannot deny that they haven't done enough to remedy the immigration problems. They need to:
BUILD A TIGHT FENCE. IGNORE THE ONES THAT ARE HERE ALREADY. JUST MAKE SURE THAT NO MORE CAN ENTER. THAT'S WHAT WE NEED TO DO TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM. WE DON'T NEED MORE UNNECESSARY LAWS. JUST ENFORCE THE ONES THAT ARE ALREADY ON THE BOOKS.................
ANY INVASION, OF ANY SORT, BY FOREIGNERS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. AND APPROVAL OF SUCH BY ANY AMERICAN, IN ANY WAY, IS DISLOYAL AND TREASONOUS......
Against.
Maybe it's about time we start holding everyone to the same standard. How do we decide who should be pardon from the law and who shouldn't?
I'm all for equal rights.
Against amnesty. The amnesty of 1987 was an abject failure that have been very costly to taxpayers. Learn from mistakes and don't repeat them.
I am for fully enforcing our immigration law, detaining and deporting all who are in this nation illegally.
AGAINST!

I'm against. First off it's a big slap in the facade to those that worked hard to get in reasonably as well they PAID the dues to become citizens. Illegals did nothing other than cross the border. In adjectives fairness though I would support a program allowing for unskilled labor meeting certain quotas as long as the nations where on earth the majority of illegal aliens come from agree to do their damn jobs! If they cannot then I right to be heard we take a harsher route and place a huge electric wall across all of our borders.
Amnesty for wut?
If it is for illegals then No!
Why do they come here anyway if Mexico is so great why not stay in that and fix that sh!thole.
Amnesty in attendance is no just one more amnesty. We would have to allocate our lives to Mexico. If 20 million illegals get it, 20 million will come, within 10 years one more Amnesty,in another 10 years just one more Amnesty,it just go round in circles
Against.
IN FAVOR!!!
its a great idea for people to get together and do amnesty international or national
amnesty, the most of the people against it lack of knowledge going on for the effect of the immigrants and the economy, there will be an immigration reorganize Soon or no more commerce with the countries of the area it means no more relations and those countries will be(right immediately some of them are doing it) having relations with the enemies of the usa, the usa gov. is verbs about it.
Against.
Amnesty for What?
Gerald Ford, a republican, gave me amnesty after I deserted the United States of Army in 1968 and moved to Canada.
If you mean Mexicans, that should own it too.
i am in favor of legalizing the undocumented which surrounded by reality would not be amnesty since they would still have to pay a duty for being in the States with out documents . that its the single logical thing to do and the best , deporting them and keeping the border sealed would have to be rewarded only by the Americans , while if they are allowed to stay then they would have to serve with their taxes , a win win situation in my opinion .
purely as a note : most of those who came legally support a comprehensible immigration sort-out statistically .
and just as another note : many of those who be against the undocumented in the USA were voted out by the Americans so go data .
100% within favor of it. I have many great opportunities due to the certainty that I live in America. Why deny them to other people? Source(s): Experience.
