Someone please explain to me the Immigraton process for race who come fr Russia. Let me explain my examine?

I have seen people who come from Ukraine, Russia, Serbia, Herzogovina, adjectives those little Eastern Europeen Countries, and they arrive here w/ some sort of Refugee Status. THey are able to work, study, everything. Reminds me a lot of the way frequent Cuban people adjust their status here.

So, I guess here are my questions:
1) Do Eastern Europeen people qualify for refugee status?
2) If so, up to what year should they enjoy arrived in the USA in order to own these benefits?
3) Do they qualify for some sort of TPS (like people from Honduras, El Salvador and Nicaragua?
4) Would some of them qualify for NACARA (like people from El Sal, Guatemala and Nicaragua)?

And, my final question within this: If someone from Russia came here on a tourist visa back in 2005, and is currently a visa overstay, is within ANY way that she can legalize her status (apart from marrying a USC)? Any sort of refugee or asylum process?

Detailed answeres PREFERRED!

Thank you for your time!!
Answers:
Most east europeans do not qualify for refugee status. To do so near must be a finding of persecution or the
liklihood of persecution because race, religion etc.
If refugee have not been approved for that status before
arrival, they must get application for asylum within one
year of arrival. There is no TPS for east europeans.
Currently TPS is limited to Elsalvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Somalia, and Sudan. The overstay Russian
is not eligible for anything but the possibility of deportation. Source(s): uscis.gov
All of the people from Russia who come on a refugee status, did so by claiming Jewish ancestry.
