If Americans tilt the shaft surrounded by the errand grazing land and become better workers, could it lesen the illlegal immigrant?
If Americans (as in natives) raise their "bar" and work harder and faster, and are positive about work and try, could it trounce out the illegal immigrants in job, and could that make their popularity among hirees low which in turn could possibly drive them away from America?

If companies raised the bar and payed more, you would see Americans work harder. The job immigrants are getting pay very little but deeply more than they can make in their country. Would you work harder for a wage that doesn't get you by? You win what you pay for can be applied to employers also.
Nothing can stem the tide of illegal immigration. It seem like people from practically every nation wants to come here to work and/or to start a better life span for themselves and/or their families. I don't know what the answer is. I do know that employing illegals is hard for a business owner to cry off. They work for less money, not taxes to pay on them, no holidays with remuneration, not anything! The business saves a bundle. And he also risks getting nailed and fined big bucks. Most prohibited immigrants that I've met WANT to become legal but cannot. Usually because of how they got here surrounded by the first place OR our own government not allowing their application OR just plain ignorance on the part of the immigrant. Very complicated issue. Because of these issues, I don't come up with that raising the ethic of the American worker will stem the tide of illegal immigrants.
The cost to LEGALLY hire a US citizen at minimum wage is over twice the cost to hire an illegal, immoral, criminal invader after you rob in taxes, insurance, etc. In order for your theory to work you want something at least close to a level playing field. This is not it!
i really don't understand why people are so worried about unsanctioned aliens taking our jobs, which by the way are jobs most american don't exactly choose or aspire to get hold of, when thousands of them are being shipped over seas to china and india everyday. we do need to lift up our bars and do these jobs even better than the people who can do them only as good and for less. or we need to find job that cant be outsourced. we as americans need to stop being so lazy and rise to the disregard and raise the bar for our children in lessons. our else we will be left in the dust and angry like most islamic nation (who used to be the center of learning and technological innovations of the world), wondering just how did countries approaching India and china surpass us.
No because most job illegals aliens do most Americans don't want to do. They are dirty jobs, physical jobs, unrewarding, low paying jobs that most Americans will never do; so unsophisticatedly you need those people because without them some job people just would not do. You need to stop complaining in the order of it and do something do better yourself instead of worrying about people that are actually helping the reduction and doing you a favor.

They own too many easier alternatives then to do that kind of work....no situation what the pay is. If today's American would do these jobs, we wouldn't be seeing the rise in laying-off claims while millions and millions illegals are either leaving or being deported. Its not a question of tough work. It is a question of ethics on the part of business owners. If they would adjust their ungodly profit margins after they would not need to utilize illegals. They do this to save on taxes, hourly rate, health strictness, and workers comp insurance. All of these things would have to be paid to a citizen and most illegals have used these as bargain chips to get the jobs... This to me proves that they do not care going on for the rest of the country.

The ones hiring illegals are notorious for treating even citizens as sub-human. I say to hell with them, we will teem in the gaps when they are put out of business. In fact I am surrounded by the process of starting my own business, and the fact that my employees will be going into the costumers home to do the work there will be stern ground checks. I will hire no illegal immigrants.
