Where abouts within America?
Im wanting to leave Merry Old England behind, the economy is faltering. Immigrants are pouring contained by, Political Correctness has gone way over the top. Everything is too expensive. (fuel works out to be $8 a galon)
I really want to move to America, its always have a special place in my heart for some reason. (Nice people, nice country, cheap everything)
I wouldnt want to move anywhere hot.
Anyone contemplation to recommend anywhere in USA which would be a nice place to live?
Answers:
well, if you don't close to hot (depending on how you define that) I'd look for something in the northern part of the country. I live contained by middle America, specifically in Ohio. We have hot days and cold days, and still have seriously of beautiful wildnerness and polite people. Same for Kentucky actually. It really depends on what you similar to to do and really are looking for-if you want peace and quiet and a place where you can leave your doors unlocked at hours of darkness, go for a small town somewhere in the midwest or in Maine. If you are more of a part/citylife compassionate of person, I'd go for one of the middle sized cities in the midwest-still lots of opportunity for employment and fun. I live within Ohio, there is a change of seasons, stuff to do, and you're roughly 8 hours from everything. Things are cheap and if you like the city life you can live here, and if you like country or suburban things you can too. It doesn't take too cold or too hot and spring and fall is wonderful and colorful. Overall a nice place to live.
Do you even qualify for one of the visas which would allow you to move to the United States? Click the join below to check the requirements.
If not, then the *where* part of your question is a moot point and not worth anybodies' time surrounded by answering. Since usually the *where* is already defined based upon where the employer who is going to sponsor you is located, unless of course you are married to a U.S. citizen.
Anyway to humor you for a time:
Colorado
Washington
Oregon
Montana
ND
SD
Nebraska
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Illinois
Michigan
The list is endless, basically avoid the south and the mid-west if you want to avoid the hot and humid places.
Note: You statement that everything is cheap, couldn't be further from the truth. Car insurance, renters insurance, morgage rates and the rest of it is unbelievably expensive and even more so since you have no credit history or credit rating. Medical insurance is another killer if you are funding it yourself.
North Georgia, Tennessee, Massachusetts, Washington State, are just a few that I suggest. Hawaii. And if you are trying to get away from illegal immigrant this ISNT the place to come trust me.
Sorry but I don't think America as good as she once be.. The democracy is masked as a bureaucracy.
People are homophoic etc, things are NOT cheap..

But if I were to go to the US, I'd go to California but it's hot at hand... so... well what kind of place are you looking for? Urban or countryside and relaxing?
New York or Oregon?
By the way... No offense.
Faltering Economy, Rising Gas Prices, Immigrants, Political Correctness...I guess the grass is always greener on the otherside. In reference to your question, try somewhere contained by Virginia thats nice. West coast,,,,,,,, Washington, Oregon, northern California.
Mild summers, nice outdoor activities, good people.
if you like snow and big cities, move to newyork. anywhere in foreign york would be great. if you dont like snow, then move to north carolina, nice scenery&weather. boy have you get this country pegged wrong..crime is rampant, guns are everywhere, economy is done, we borrow everything from China and outsource our jobs...this country similar to all empires will be destroyed from within..stay where on earth you are
I love Texas, and I would suggest it .....a little bit of everything here. And no we don't all live the cowboy course. lol
Houston is a very diverse cultural city. Jobs are still plentiful and housing costs are low....you can get a 2 story / 3 bedroom / 3 bath brand fresh brick home in nice neighborhood for around $100,000. However we do have very long hot summers (but you find used to it, just make sure your car have air conditioning). Actually most anywhere in the US is going to have HOT summers, but all along the summer is where the difference is. The further south you go the longer the summer. The further north you go the shorter the summer season. And vise versa for Winter. Good Luck!
Just want to incorporate, no matter what anyone tells you on here, The USA is still the best place in the world to live. The discount is not as bad as some will make it sound and the those of the USA still have that good old American Pride!
Welll... our reduction isnt doing so hot either.... Just want to warn you ahead of time.
Anyway... North Carolina and Virginia are really beautiful places.... so is the Northwest (Oregon, Washington...) Boston, MA
any of the untested 13 colonies would fit you nice
I lived contained by DC, LA, Dallas and now Seattle and let me tell you I am not going anywhere, close snowboarding, free thinker, near Canada and some of the best outdoor activities in the world, not to mention that 2 out of the 3 Richest men on Earth live here.... I m sure they know whats best You want HOT, move to Phoenix Arizona.
