i am living with Portuguese and we have a child of 3 years.
but we are not married, we live in civil league. we want to move to UK.
in this case, can i live and work in UK?
Answers:
No, your Portuguese residency card Título de Residência, Autorizac~ao de Residência Temporária, Cart~ao de Residência Temporária, or Cart~ao de Residência simply authorizes you to stay in Portugal and waives the visa requirement to travel to other Schengen countries for tourist purposes of up to 90 days.
Since the United Kingdom (UK) is not a member of the Schengen travel agreement it depends on your passport whether you would inevitability a visa to visit or not. To stay and work requires a working visa in any case.
The right of free travel and settlement inside Europe is valid for passport holders of the old member states of the European Union, the European Economic Area, and based on agreements, Switzerland and Liechtenstein solitary.

i would think no
as portugal may have different rules of entry.

as its temporary for 5 years i would Imagin that you must stay within portugal or give up your leave to remain.

it wont look good to make available up the right to remain in one really nice Eu country and expect to go to another

why leave portugal is it because you want to draw from more benefits here.
stay away we do not need more immigrants here
