No passport stamping? Am i still competent to carry my green card?
after the interwiew, i got a letter from immigration center 2 month later ,the dispatch said the reason for it was passport stamping . but when i went here, the person who works in counter just took my fingerprints,and two photos. next he said i could go home. so i am wondering how come i can not get the passport stamped.i am wondering am i still able bring my green card,if so ,how long it will take?

if you have a immigration visa in your passport and it be stamped within 6 months of being issued. You can get a green card once you enjoy entered the Country.
I am guessing that they want your photos and fingerprints so they can make a green card. Stamping of a temp. green card in the passport seem to have been replaced with a hang around until you get a real green card (my wife has an ancient stamp in an old passport).
