If we marry before he get parole what would happen? Plus his EAD is going to expire. He owns his own small home improvment business several yrs here. Has social security number, and drives.
I just don't know when we should marry, I do not want to hurt what is already contained by the process. Or should I worry at all? He has a legal representative, he's been here for years.
He says New Jersey processing times might be better than New York.( in considering where on earth we will live-and I live in NJ).

Just getting married will not change anything. After getting married, you enjoy the option of applying for a green card based on marriage, or he can stay on the visa he have now. The marriage based process will probably be faster, you will requirement to file form i130, i485 and application for EAD. His lawyer can help you next to all that.
I would suggest that you wait to file until he returns from his trip out of the country.
