Question going on for U.S immigration law?
I have a friend who has been married to her husband and living within the U.S for a few years. She has one greed card and is in the process of getting her second. She has just this minute discovered that her husband had several previous marriages that she wasn't aware of, and was convicted for spousal knock about. He routinely verbally abuses her and prevents her from taking classes and is trying to get her fired from her duty.
I've already looked up the procedure for removing conditions on permanent residence based on marriage on the USCIS website.
My question are these: if she divorces him what will her immigration status be? will she be able to stay in U.S and keep her brief? if not, what would she need to do in command to stay?
please list sources if you can.

i think it would not change anything she can still return with her green card
and if she is physically or verbally abused she can get help
she purely needs to talk to an immigration lawyer to see what she have to do!

How long will it pinch?
i have had my interview for my green card in march past.. since i already had that interview how much longer will it take me to get my green card it depend on ur interview and ur database cause 4 some people it just pilfer 6 to 8 weeks. my brother in law got within 2 months after interview.
