I-130 processing time have passed my record date?


I am a permanent resident and I have filed I-130 for my wife on jan 2006, very soon the processing time in my category is January 2008.but I did not get any notice roughly accepting or rejecting my case.anyone out there is similar situation ?when did you file ?

im an immigration paralegal and this doesnt sound right to me. usually we tell the petitioner it will be about 3-5 years. idk what is going on. i would shift back to the company who filled out the form for you and ask them.

The processing date means nothing. You involve to watch the State Department's Visa Bulletin to follow the current date.

You have a Green Card. That makes your wife's priority Family 2A. The current date for Family 2A is February 8, 2004... except for Mexico where on earth it's July 15, 2001.

This means your wife has at least another 4+ yeas to hang around, unless she's in Mexico where she's got another 8+ years to linger.

Where is the processing center?? I file for a I-130 for my husband (im a U.S. citizen) and mine is in Vermont center.. And it says for a U.S. resident filing for a spouse
