I hear that some immigrant that come to this country don't hold to retribution taxes for 7 years. Is that true?
Answers:
Not true.
False. Anyone with US income, even if non-resident non-citizen, has to pay US income taxes. Anyone resident contained by the US (including immigrants, people on employment visas, etc) has to foot US income taxes on worldwide income, not just US income. So someone here on, say, an H1-b visa who has income from US undertaking and investment or other income elsewhere has to pay taxes on all the income, not simply the US income.
Long-term residents who later leave the US are subject to the new exit export tax on worldwide assets, same as US citizens.
When I first moved here from Canada seven years ago, I incontestably had to pay taxes. As much as anyone.
it depends on near visa, for people with working visa, of course you own to pay taxes, but poeple with visas like student visa, they don't enjoy to pay taxes becuz there is nothing to charge on since, people with student visa are not allowed to work
