green card. how i can hold j-1 visa? ?
hi! i am Aika! i am citizen of Kazakhstan. one week ago i fiiled aplication to green card. Now, i am planing to work in USA, but i dont know can i take visa j-1 after GC?

Since you don't mention any of the particulars on the green card, approaching how you are qualifying and how long that is likely to help yourself to, there's no way to really answer your question. The same is true for your possible J visa application. However, while filing for the green card doesn't spawn it impossible to get a J, it does make it a great deal more difficult, since you enjoy to show your intention to return, and that doesn't appear to be your intention. As Yak Rider points out, once you have your green card, you won't have any need of any other visa, and it would be against regulation to even issue you one.
If you enjoy a Green Card you don't need a J-1 visa. You don't need any visa if you have a Green Card.

I applied early in January 09, i gave like mad of supporting documents and my application was straight forward. I have been working the full 2 years i be married in uk, paying all my tax's, bills...etc etc. I know it takes upto 14 weeks. But surely at hand are people out there who have have it earlier then that?...
