I'm gonna be straight with you. YES, an illegal immigrant CAN WORK in NJ beside the itid#. However, if he IS working in those conditions, it's illegal and he runs the risk of getting caught. Any illegal human being could find some kind of work in any state of the USA. 'There are consequences if they get caught, though.
