With the poorly planned border obstruction that's costing us BILLIONS, causing floods, forcing people to give up the lands that be handed down from generation to generation, and threatening in danger of extinction species, do you think it's a MISTAKE, or "something that didn't go as planned"?

The border fence was planned fine. The problem is funding. It cost 700 million to build the fence but politicians fear political suicide won't provide more funding. Iraq war cost 3 billion a day.
Border fences don't lead to floods, where did you get that idea? Have you ever be to the boder? it's mostly desert except most of the California border and parts of Texas. And no one is forced to give up lands. The issue was private come to rest grazing but I never heard any farmers complaining considering there the ones suffering the most.
Whats funny is the only places near a complete fully protected border fence is the ones on Native American Reservations. Reservations run things by there own rules so they don't have to concordat with trying to please everyone considering reservations are normally only tribal member.

No, it is not a mistake. I would a bit our borders just be secured in another way and for adjectives the incentives that encourage illegals to come to the U.S. taken away. Then, there would be no need for a wall because they would stay where on earth they belong in their own country. The illegals cost U.S. tax paying citizens millions.

No it should have been built back contained by Operation We**ack was issued. How much of that land is American Indian land, where on earth is the flooding. what endangered species are being hurt. It cost us more in billions by allowing illegals to slither thru the border. At lowest with the border fence it may not stop all who abandon their country, but if it stops 1/2 it is worth it. There just needs to be more than just the balustrade, Border Patrol with the right to use weapons on sight, I also like the idea of alligators being placed and protected there as a form of keeping the species alive.
