Do you abominate ethnic group approaching me (i am legal)?
I am an international student from eastern Europe. I came here legally with visa and stuff. It's a nice place to study, but one point that bothers me is dislike Americans have toward any immigrants or just company. Why is it so? I am not even an immigrant. E.g When I go to a bank , as soon as cashier notice i have an accent, she doesn't treat me like she would treat Americans. It's not newly at the bank, it's everywhere. My professors at school keep asking me when i will confer on the country and stuff. Don't get me wrong, I like this country as a whole and the feature of education. I have only one sound out for you. Do you hate me? if yes, for what? i would be very thankful for your answer.

I've never seen nonAmericans treated like that and I used to fly for an airline. But sorry if that's how it's be for you. Are you sure it's about just your accent? Most Americans, from my lifelong experience, will smile and read aloud, "Where's your accent from?" And couldn't be nicer.

No, I don't think it is a matter of Americans hating relatives from other countries. I think a lot of Americans are scared or angry because of the perceived model that people from foreign countries are taking valuable resources from Americans who need them. When risky immigrants require government assistance for food and shelter, that sometimes means that an American own flesh and blood might be rejected because of lack of funds to support everyone. I certainly think that everyone that requirements assistance should be able to get it, but I can also see the point that people are trying to manufacture about tax paying Americans missing out on welfare programs because of an influx of illegal immigrant. My personal opinion is that these people are only trying to net a better life for themselves and their families. And remember, America wouldn't exist today if not for European immigrant.
I attend a college where nearby is a very diverse population and I personally like the interaction next to people from other cultures and countries. If I ask them when they are going back it is only to see how long they are staying...it's merely conversation. I am in no hurry for them to leave. Also if your accent is gluey and hard to understand people enjoy a hard time trying to communicate. I don't know if this is the case with you but sometimes not anyone able to understand what is being said is frustrating for the other soul. I know they should be more understanding but some people may not be. If is wrong to group all Americans into one group and label a general statement that All Americans dislike foreign visitors. My son will be studying in Korea subsequent year and I hope that people are accepting of him when he gets there. I realize that those from other countries own a harder time due to language barrier. Even if their English is good sometimes the slang word meaning get lost in translation. So as to your question whether I loathe you, I can honestly say No because I don't even know you. How can you hate a person in need actually meeting them and interacting with them? I live within the Northeast and I think you would find it different here.
