Immigrate to the UK from the US?
hey guys
im 17 from California, US and was wondering if it would be difficult to immigrate from the US to the UK. I'm thinking of doing it later on in vivacity haha not as a high school student, maybe similar to after college.
Answers:
Just make sure you bring your Polish dictionary!
Whatever you plan to do, make sure you look in the UK on holiday to see if you like it first, before you ever plan to migrate to it.
And migrating here (I was born and live contained by the UK, btw) isn't as hard as to migrate to say.. Canada or Australia. But it's still fairly difficult, you stipulation decent skills, which I'm sure you'll have after you finish University and of course adequate money to finance yourself at first.
On a warning note; there's some extraordinarily ignorant people here who are very chauvinistic in some towns, cities and areas, which is a shame, really. But I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy it if you visit/move to the right parts.
Hope this helped. Source(s): A Brit to Irish parents.
Why not go for a semester of college? That way you'll get a touch for living there and see how you like it.
Not the best belief, you have 50 different states in US and you wanna come to UK. Not a wise choice i can explain to you.
If you want a change why not try Canada instead. It is much better.
You will probably find it easiest to come here on a student visa - if you resolve to do your University Studies or Post-Grad studies in the UK.
Getting a work visa for the UK is getting harder and harder as the Government are clamping down big-time on immigration from outside the EU. In a few years time it will be very hard for non-EU national to come and work/live in the UK.
A student VISA would enable you to study (and work part time during permanent status time) here. You would then need to return home and seek employment surrounded by the UK to get a work permit and come back here. You would have need of to be highly skilled in an area which is needed within the UK.
Studying here would give you an idea of whether you feel you'd close to to live here long term and also what the job market is resembling and what skills you need to get a job here.
Call the British Embassy or Google them - It is I own heard to immigrate to the Irish Republic than to the UK itslef
Not too hard. You'll have to live here for a while on a visa, return with a work permit, take an exam, then swear allegiance to the Queen or King.
You dont want to come to this dump, most of the brits I know want out.
The only way you'll be capable of do it is as an exchange student. They don't need us in the UK.
Britain is a 3rd World country at the perimeter of the European continent. Stay away from that place and do yourself a favour.
Resolved Questions:
I file to register as fixed resident but i recieved a message that it be not sufficiently expert to be processed?
this was because according to usics, my wife's incme did not meet the required minimum and we could not find any other person to support us. this is one of the cause why i have to apply to get an ead card to support...
Status of appeal no OA/85493/2007 ait.gov.uk.com?
permission to appeal to the court of appeal No one is going to have access to those court records here.
