Does anyone know the age?
Is there an age for a person to marry an immigrant and then record for their citizenship?
Answers:
Actually in Mississippi, it's 15 with parental consent, and can be even younger with judicial consent. 12 years older. hehehe. just do it .do it
If you are of legal age to marry, that's all you need.
This is for the USA by the passageway, I don't know the rules of other countries.
On the other hand, you cannot apply for their citizenship so soon. First you'll apply for their green card. Your now-spouse will get a conditional green card. 90 days before the 2nd anniversary of the conditional green card, you stipulation to apply for removal of conditions, which nets you with a 10-year green card (if approved). Finally, 1 year later or so, you can apply for citizenship.
In other words you're looking at a minimum of 3 years until that time you can apply for citizenship.
You need to be at or above the legal age of marriage surrounded by whichever country you intend or your partner intends to become a citizen of.
So in this country, 18, or 16 with parental permission (I think).
However it isn't as simple as in recent times getting married and automatically they can get citizenship. You have to have rock solid proof that you've be in a long term relationship for a certain length of time (I forget how long) and many other requirements.
