About hispanic immigrant demanding immigration recover...?

Don't they understand they might actually have a adjectives if they at LEAST pretended like they wanna be American? i mean, they ask to be legalized, made citizens, given everything American citizens have, and other stuff But, they never enunciate "well if u allow us to live in the US legally, we'll swot up to speak, read and write English, study, and abide by US laws and customs". Instead they just say gimme my papers and surrounded by return i'll give u nothing. In case they haven't notice, immigrants from every other non-spanish speaking country (except Spain), come here and the first thing they do after getting a job is to enroll within an english school. they don't need to demand citizenship because they do it themselves by studying and working for it. why can't hispanic immigrant do the same?

by the way i'm hispanic (born here of course), but my parents were immigrant and they never demanded citizenship or residency they learned (and are learning) english and became (or are in the process of becoming) US citizens.

so don't say aloud i'm racist or being discriminative im just saying to hispanic immigrant if u wanna get something u gotta give something in return (working contained by a low-paying job doesn't count)

you are the true meaning of an immigrant. What you read out is what our ancestors did, unfortunately it is not what the majority of illegals are doing.
In a way our businesses and gov have made it flowing for the MX to not assimilate. They print ads and info in spanish. there are several TV and radio stations here and as expected press 1 for english.
But the MX is also to blame. They come over here with the expectation that Americans will adjust to them. That they need do nothing. The MX governing body is also trying to make that happen. They want our laws changed and accommodation made for the people who come here illegally.
The best solution for everyone involved would be for the Mx government to step up to the plate and enforce law to protect the people and force businesses to pay a living wage.
If we could force the Mexican Government to treat their society decently.. all of them.. I believe they would not come. And I believe the current difference between the Mexican Nationals and the American Citizens is very significant, and I am not at all sure we can live together as things now stand. I am not sure, at this point, that the Catholic Church of Mexico could ever support a Mexican Culture that is as culture is surrounded by the United States.

I wish you luck young man.
I couldn't have said it better myself. :)
You'd hold to be a pro-crime Mexi to disagree that.
Agreed.
you took the words right out of my mouth

-- Right on Bro... I remember my own parents says, that we have to stay mexicans because we be traders to our own country. They have a hard time getting jobs and making a living.
-- My kids i made sure they learn english and receive an education, before learning spanish. And how they are in good health off because they learned to be Americans. I am An American .,. not a Mex-American. Although my parents were mexican.
-- God Bless the USA .. I'm presently retired from the USAF, and would glady join again to protect my country, the good old USA.

You're exactly right.
And they bring poverty, illiteracy, disease, third-world ethics and contribute to the rising cost of social services everywhere. I'm not talking roughly Mexicans, or Hondurans or Guatemalans. I am talking about ILLEGAL poor people who sneak into the country. Yes, they purely want a better life But search around the internet and find the video that shows how completely impossible it is for us to try to solve poverty by inviting them here. For every poor illegal who sneaks contained by, there are 100 born into poverty elsewhere in the world.
I'm hispanic, but I completely agree with you.
just because some (if any) bring in demands as such, doesn't mean the entire race/group of people all feel and act this way. i know quiet a few hispanics who are not here officially who speak fluent English, and pay taxes even though they don't have to, and have assimilated severely well into the american community. just because some white people are member of the KKK doesn't mean all of them are. just because some Muslims are Fundamentalists suicide bombers, doesn't anticipate every Middle Eastern person is about to blowup/ high jack something.
and no adjectives black people like fried Chicken or speak with broken english.
It's unapprised and foolish to say so.

point number two, most hispanic immigrants who are undocumented, and demanding legalization, most likely can speak english and are knowledgeable. How else would they know to demand legalization?
The ones who don't speak english, actually really would like to cram, and if they are adults it can be very difficult for them to learn a new lexis.

Im sure if you talk to some of the people who came over you would find that they do hold a desire to learn and assimilate.

and being proud of where you come from and your heritage isn't the same as saying "i don't want to be american", Source(s): personal experience
