How can I, as an employer, assistance somone move to the U.S.?
I have many Mexican American immigrants and LEGAL aliens who work for me, adjectives of which have the proper credentials on file. One our best employees permit her work visa expire and moved back to Mexico. This was about 2 years ago. We enjoy been unable to find, in the two years she have been gone, anyone as good at her job as she be.
I have spoken with some of the other Mexican immigrants and they said that she desires to come back, and is waiting to save up money to sneak across the border.
Obviously, I didn't want to hear that as my knowledge of her sneaking across the border would render her unhireable to me.
So here is my cross-examine: Given the aforementioned back story, what steps can I take, as an employer, to get her here LEGALLY. What is involved?

Have her stir to the US embassy in Mexico. Apply for a work visa, and list your company as the employer. When immigration calls to verify this information, later it should be a done deal. They will however do a backround check, and if she commited any crimes while she was in the states formerly, she will have problems. BUt as long as you can employ her, and sponcer her, she should be OK
She can apply through the US embassy down nearby in Mexico for a US work permit, she'll be asked to show a job extend (which you will have to provide to her on a form you'll be sent) , and after that it takes a couple months but she'll be able to come to the US again.
Bring her across as your wife.

No, every time you go for a new job, regardless of whether or not you've have one done recently you'll have to get it done again. It wouldn't event if you'd had it done for your old job & you are offered a tentative...
