General Tier 1 (old HSMP ) IELTS Academic or General ?
One of the requirement for the General Tier 1 (UK VISA)You need to possess an International English Language Testing System qualification at least at Band 6 less than two years elderly.
My question is ""Is it should be a academic or General ?

Canada requires the General Band so I would judge that UK is probably the same - General.
Academic is specialised and most immigrants are not applying as specialist just as broad immigrants.
You must produce an IELTS certificate to certify that you have achieve level 6 in spoken and written English and that it is dated no more than two years prior to the date of your application.
I would say the General company is ok to do. It measures up to 7 levels.
