even if you get married and try to adjust his status, it won't do him any good.he'll only be facing a 10 year command.
No, matrimonial is no longer the answer, they changed the immigration rules so even if you are married, you have to go through all that legalization stuff and it could run several years so he'd better get started now. About 10 years ago, the US gov. did an amnesty program for a very fixed time where if you could prove you had been surrounded by this country for [7+ years? can't remember what the number was] you could apply to get automatic citizenship. But it was limited and you have to have the acceptable proof (like US utility bills for 7+ years or leases contained by your name for 7+ years, that kind of thing). His parents should have done that for the intact family. Now he's going to have to fill out the immigration papers and do the interviews and linger forever for some gov. agent to do something, etc. Just like anyone else immigrating to this country. Of course, if he has some skill that is totally unusual and needed in the US, he would probably be rushed through the process.
He cannot adjust his status while he is here without permission.
If he quickly returns to his home country before he turns 18 1/2,his parents bringing him here illegally will not be held against him and he would know how to apply to come back legally. If he doesn't take this accident now,his living here illegally will be his own choice since he is now an fully fledged and he would be deportable if caught and face a 10 year ban on returning.
Marriage will not help. He will still own to leave the country to adjust his status. When you file for him after marriage,it will trigger that he is here unlawfully and he could be deported, which will put his ban on returning into play.
His only chance to do it right is to pilfer care of this now. Waiting until he turns 19 will be too late.

marry him.... its not fair that people who were brought here as children arent granted citizenship.. resembling a 2 yr old has a choice, he goes where on earth his family goes, and to punish him for not having citizenship isnt equal.. but if you married him....
he probably has to move back to mexico and next immigrate legally
consult an immigration lawyer
There is nothing you can do. Even marriage won't make him decriminalized, since he has no status here. Sorry.
The only way would be for both of you to seize married. Then apply for adjustment of status for him. However, if when he cam at the age of 2 and wasn't inspected by an immigration officer then he;s going to have problems. He also needs to enjoy an I-94 in his passport which plays a key role. However, hire a lawyer to give support to with the paperwork and seek legal direction and ask as many questions as you can during the consultation.
