Immigrants coming into america ? (a picture from a bridge)?
i am doing an essay on the 20th century in brooklyn new york and the play a view from a bridge i hold a few questions please please help ...
1) how did these illegal immigrant get to america?
2) where did these illegal immigrant work, who got them jobs,who were they working to wage off and why ?

Illegals come to America via our porous borders to the north and especially the south. They also overstay their Visas and take advantage of our lax government enforcement.
They work for low wages usually below the table for cash or they steal someones identity (by purchasing an SS# from the black or brown market as it is known) thus lowering wages and making it harder for American citizens who pay taxes to draw from jobs - who got them jobs - in good health, I am sure you have heard of supply and demand - if within are 5 illegals willing to work for $2 per hour and 5 Americans willing to work for minimum wage ($6.55 and maybe benefits) the business is more plausible to choose the illegal because even if he hires the American for mimimum wage, he still has to match the taxes that the American pays on that wage, plus an severance premium - so the boss gets to keep more money hiring the illegal and forcing him to do more and more for smaller number money by holding over his or her head that he can be reported -
They steal benefits from American citizens, and if you haven't already noticed how crowded your classroom is, you can thank the illegals for that - if your family can't afford form insurance, but yet illegals can go to the emergency room for a runny nose and never bring a bill as they have no address, they get food stamps and other benefits paid by citizens that even some citizens don't qualify to capture -
It is so unfair, if you know any that are here, call the INS and report them it is your civic duty!
