Generally, I don't think so, no. There's a reason it's call "illegal" immigration.

I live in Texas, so I know plenty of immigrants - both legal and wrong. And I have friends who are both. I'm not saying that illegal immigrant are horrible people or anything like that, but if tons of people can come here officially, and work to become citizens (or even just to have a green card), why shouldn't the others do the same?

Most folks (especially people in Texas, California, or other states with giant Hispanic populations) will automatically assume that illegal immigrant = Hispanic illegal immigrant, but I think even those who come here improperly from places like Canada or Europe should be seen the same mode.


In some instances, though, yes they should be given amnesty. If an immigrant is fleeing a country, whether because of persecution, or something similar, we should open our doors for them.

I've heard the argument "Our country be founded on illegal immigration" enough times to figure that someone will post that on this ask, so I'm going to go ahead and offer my opinion something like that.
Most of our founders came here because of persecution. And yes, many others did come for a better natural life, or just a new life, but it wasn't really crooked immigration.

USCIS have already created a mess inside USA (filling illegal immigrants) and within order to clean this mess they must give amnesty and restart the system.Currently US immigration law are very weak.There is no other way they can control this presently except amnesty and then formulate more poweful laws.
