Indian Citizen (on H1B) marry Canadian citizen surrounded by USA?

I will try to keep this as specific as possible: We both have graduate degrees and full time sponsored job.
I'm an Indian citizen (h1B). She is a Canadian citizen. We want to get married in the US.
1. Do we need to register within India (or Canada) too?
2. What does this do to my citizenship (Indian)
3. If I want to get a green card (US) what is the best route? I don't want to loose my Indian citizenship.
I realize that I can apply for Canadian citizenship and then try to apply for a green card, but I don't want to loose my Indian citizenship. I just want a Green card and hang on to my Indian citizenship.
4. What are the short and long term impacts of a married couple holding to their respective citizenships?
Answers:
It will not help any of you get a green card. It could hurt. You cannot immigrate to the US without an immediate blood relative who is a US citizen & who have sufficient income and assets to sponsor the both of you, not just one. Companies for the most part are no longer sponsoring immigration since it is too expensive and they cannot guarantee your support or your job for the subsequent 10 years. More likely, as the economy continues to crumble, you will be terminated and required to return to your own country immediately. You can apply for the Canadian party's immigration beside you to India. Or the Canadian party can apply for you to immigrate to Canada.
1. Do we need to register in India (or Canada) too?
Your bridal? NO. But make sure you have a marriage pass, you will need to use that as proof of marital status.

2. What does this do to my citizenship (Indian)
NOTHING.

3. If I want to get a green card (US) what is the best route?
I don't want to loose my Indian citizenship.
GREEN CARD IS OK but you must own skills and find an employer who can hire you and get you a work permit.

I realize that I can apply for Canadian citizenship and then try to apply for a green card, but I don't want to loose my Indian citizenship. I only just want a Green card and keep my Indian citizenship.
Then you can NEVER apply for ANY citizenship anywhere on this planet - since India does NOT allow dual citizenship. Green cards and permanent residency status is OK to get.

4. What are the short and long occupancy impacts of a married couple holding to their respective citizenships?
NOTHING, but they BOTH must be legal permanent residents whereever they want to live together - in whatever country they choose.
