That American be wrong. There are no such rewards for being extremely good at breaking the law. Not True

Fortunately : )
I take it you are permissible and one of your parents is a US Citizen.

A green card is good for 10 years. After which you can renew or apply for citizenship.

Only if you are under 18 you can derive Citizensip from parents.
Current law you can look at elder ones on the website.
You derive U.S. citizenship if and when all of the following three things become true
: (1) one of your parents was born in the United States or have become a naturalized citizen,
(2) you are under the age of 18, and
(3) you have a green card (lawful unchanging residence) and are living in the legal and physical custody of your U.S. citizen parent. This law applies to both colloquial and adopted children. This law also applies to you if your parent naturalized back February 27, 2001 but you were under age 18 and satisfied the green card and residency requirement at the time.
False. Citizenship have to be applied for it is not handed out over time. nope my mom's been here for 15 years and nuthing she's just official
No, that isn't true. You have to apply for naturalization and meet faultless requirements. I've included a link to immigration services with details. the only track to be an american citizen is to be born in the us or have a green card and apply for a citizen ship. u cant just stay within the us for 13 years and automatically be a citizen, it doesnt work like that.
their is no such thing as a legal imigrant if you don not hacve any papers or visa but if you do and youve be here for 14 years then you are good
He lied! The only automatic way to become an American citizen is to be legally born here. No here is a well defined path to citizenship starting with you must be a documented immigrant
Most society become U.S. citizens in one of two ways:

By birth, either within the domain of the United States or to U.S. citizen parents, or
By Naturalization.

Naturalization is the process by which U.S. citizenship is conferred upon a foreign citizen or national after he or she fulfills the requirements established by Congress in the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). The general requirements for administrative naturalization include:

a period of continuous residence and physical presence within the United States;
residence in a particular USCIS District prior to filing;
an handiness to read, write, and speak English;
a knowledge and understanding of U.S. history and government;
dutiful moral character;
attachment to the principles of the U.S. Constitution; and,
favorable disposition toward the United States.
Not true.

Unfortunately :[
nope, thats not true. you can be born outside of the us, brought here illegally by your parents, then grow up here and you're still risky (if you never got a visa) in the eyes of the government. That is not correct.

Visit this website for information on how an immigrant become a U.S. citizen.
