I don't think that crooked immigration is inherently a good thing for a country--however, our country has to a degree developed around illegal immigration since it's been going on for so long. When it comes to illegal immigration, more is most manifestly NOT better for us--but we also have to figure out how to deal next to the parts of our society that have developed around a system where illegal immigration be always going on. People claim the cheap labor benefits us all, but
the social costs such as unreimbursed medical, schools, and so on amounts to much more. One estimate I saw stated that the average unfair alien who has a chld while in the US ( a citizen), costs approximately 8-15K per year. The sales taxes salaried and or income taxes(usually not, cus ya need a social security number) tend to be much less.
It is not that job are being taken, as much as taxes from the US citizens.
It's pretty reasonable to assume that if illegal immigration be good for the country, it wouldn't be illegal.
Immigration is a complex issue with a great deal of different ways of looking at it. Aside from any potential change in immigration law policies, we already do enjoy rules in place.
However, there's also an issue of how much time, effort and resources we really want to spend targeting crooked immigrants and those who employ them. Are we better served spending X Million dollars chasing down illegals, or would that money be better spent other ways, such as providing tax incentives for trial businesses, or creating job training programs? I don't claim to have all the answers, in recent times trying to point out that unlike some issues, immigration is not just a "for" or "against" kind of issue.
I cannot. Illegal aliens are always open to blackmail and manipulations. I have a job, (a professional job by the way) where on earth I have to seat and watch heaps of these illegal alien's jobs, I have to be out here for hours watching them work, talk, and really I don't see anything about criminals on these people, they are only very down to earth, very honest associates... they are just there cutting the grass, cleaning houses... freshly there working, nothing else, trying to make 60 bucks so they can hold some food at home.... come on people, why so much hate.... instead of sitting out there critizicing and hate people... stop worring so much about them and actually let's relieve them, let's help the ones that are already here and force our borders, because what we have is just satisfactory... not to be mean. No, I can't. We have laws contained by place and we have legal channels for them to progress through. Many work for companies that hire them because they will work hard for little pay and don't tax them. It's the business community in the US that are encouraging illegal immigration because they can pay them low wages and probably no form benefits. And because these business people are cozy with high profile lawmaker, the government does a token job at best to try and stop the flow of illegal immigration.
I lived contained by Arizona for 2 years and saw first hand what was going on. Most Americans will not apply for the jobs that immigrant will do.

If our industries can't hire enough labor, they will go elsewhere. Why do you consider there are American companies opening facilities within Mexico to produce things and then import them back to the US? Because labor is cheaper. The company would love to create them here instead, and the workers would love to come here as well, but our government won't allow it.
