No more citizenship for children of illegals born contained by the USA?
I live in Arizona, arguably the state with the worst illegal immigration problem surrounded by the country. Nearly everyday we hear stories on the news of illegals being sent home. Many of them have have children during their time in the states. Currently the law says that anyone born on US soil is an american citizen. Do you feel a good deterrent for illegal immigration would be to take away that right to citizenship if it is found that the parents are unconstitutional aliens?
I think the natural born citizenship is a huge draw for illegals and their families. Most are thinking nearly their futures and the futures of their families. I think it would encourage more society to use the legal channels toward citizenship. Although I do not think this is a solution that will completely solve the problem, I do assume it could be a big help!
I want to start a healthy dialogue here, not trying to offend anyone, merely want to hear what others think.
What ideas do you have to support solve the problem?

Actually anchor babies have no right to become citizens of the USA the amendment to the Constitution was perverted and twisted at the insistence of politicians to include anchor babies. OK fine but if it applies to anchor babies next why are the children of foreign diplomats not considered to be anchor babies also? Why did the democrats only want it to apply to a specific group of illegal immigrants? I completely agree. Some even try to cross the border while they are pregnant in recent times so the kid will be a U.S. citizen. Then of course they continue popping out kids almost yearly. They dont stop and focus for a minute, "what if I get deported, what will happen to my kids"
Very selfish. Just because you are born here should not prove being a U.S. citizen.
Is Arizona really worse then Texas with illegals? It is hideous here.
i do not belive that we should change the constitution. we should protected our borders first, get rid of everyone who did not go through the proper channels to acquire in, and as far as the children, if they were born on american soil, they are americans, they can stay, undocumented parents cannot, if they dont want to leave the children here within foster care, take them back near them, and when the children turn 18 they can come back home. The Constitution was written for the Africans who were brought to this country as slaves. They didn't hold a choice to come to this country and because of that they were given citizenship after the Civil War. Someone took that amendment and interpreted it the way it is taken today. As far as I am concerned we should send the babies put a bet on with the parents. They try to make everyone feel impossible by accusing US of wanting to separate them from their child so I say send the child back too. When that child become 18 they can have the choice to come here.
I am strongly against illegals having babies surrounded by this country period, then those babies are automatic citizens, I think NOT. I reckon those babies who are born OF US CITIZENS can be citizens themselves. Anything else is just insane if you ask me. Yes I do think this is a huge issue in why so tons cross our borders illegally to give birth with OUR TAX MONEY. Yes, in attendance is a proposal in Congress to amend the constitution to prohibit citizenship for anchor babies. Unfortunately, neither party seems to be likely to take this up, and then getting it through the constitutional amendment process is going to be really difficult.
Its a devout law but it allows to take advantage of the situation.
I surmise wee need to see the immigration as a whole picture not separated issues, for thousand of years, countries and civilizations have be enculturated and acculturate. a imaginary line, laws, walls or anything can stop these. wee entail to act towards a healthy Communion. not forcing separation.
IF WE SECURED OUR BORDER THIS WOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE
SECURE OUR BORDER
ENFORCE OUR LAWS
ILLEGALS GO HOME
COME HERE LEGALLY LIKE MY FATHER DID
IT IS NOT A HUMAN RIGHT TO LIVE IN AMERICA
If they have their babies here I reflect that once the parents are found to be illegal then we should take their kids and deport the parents. Put the kids surrounded by foster care where the parents can't see them unless they are here legally. Its cruel but we have got to do something. If it makes you have a feeling any better, the children of illegals are guaranteed to end up in jail or worse... Disenfranchised, dumb, w/e you want to ring up them. As long as they grow up somewhere away from my kids.
simple... check the legal status of all women that give birth within a hospital... if the mom isn't legal then you strip her of all parental rights and deport her. Send the tot to an orphanage and let it be adopted by Americans that can teach it to abide by the laws of America... the baby would never learn those things within the house of lies that illegal immigrant live in.
If they choose to run the risk of being separated from their children out of their own greed then that's their problem I think you are correct. It's time for the Supreme Court to revisit this specific issue.
I think that would be a good start. I also feel that they should not own the right to access our programs meant to hel our legal citizens such as schools, welfare, and other benefits, the hospitals should also be allowed to turn down someone who cannot provide proof of citizenship or green card, and near should be stricter laws against them being able to rent or buy homes in need proper citizenship status. These are all things that attract them as well. It's not like it would be some type of human rights issue because they chose to sneak over here and put themselves contained by the situation. well.. my parents came from el salvador, both are now us citizens presently, but did not come here legally..... when i was born my parents were still not allowed.. so in this case..... if a child is a us citizen because he is born on us soil then i regard the parents should be citizens as well or at least legal residents..... not adjectives illegals are here to kill, murder, steal.. or all those other things ignorrant people hold said..... not all are the same.. some people come here contained by search of a better life.... so... i think a child should be capable of keep their citizenship as long as the parents do wut ever is needed to become a resident or citizen.
