Why do nation insist on voting against the federal DREAM Act?
Specifics please, i want to get an idea of what the major objection to this bill are. I don't want to hear why it's unfair to American people, i want to hear what specifically about the bill it is that you guys protest to.
Answers:
I only don't know enough about this bill to make up my mind. But at most minuscule here is a viewpoint from someone else.
It would legalize about 1 million undocumented agricultural workers contained by the U.S., a key goal of growers whose crops can rot in the field if not harvested at key times by general public willing to work hard at low wages.
The above are not my words. So it seams that it would grant some illegal immigrants the opportunity to stay here why they work for agriculture. Some have said that the bill also includes college childhood for these individuals which will take that money away from American citizens to go to college.... It is amnesty. It allows non-residents to attend college on resident fees, to apply for loans to pay for that schooling and lead to citizenship. After so many years they can apply and bring in family below the chain migration ( not separating families).
Joining the military accomplishes the same piece. It is a path to citizenship.
We need to make college and college loans accessible to our own children. Not overrun it with illegals. That is the responsibility of their own country. They need to work on their own country, or ask for help to eradicate their corrupt gov and police force and military. They do not deserve the right to overrun my country, cost me billions contained by tax dollars,
over tax gov services, water & food supply, housing, and joie de vivre.
The only ones who deserve gov intervention in time of need are American citizens.
Because the dream Act is reworded Amnesty, and Americans are too smart to reward criminals with Amnesty.
Maybe that's why the pathetic Dream Act gets defeated every time it's brought up, thank god.
because it was a jape, giving amnesty to millions of invading criminals who do not belong here. these people are not our concern and deportation is the only thing the American citizen requests to see! It is also very unfair to immigrants who come here that respect and follow the law.
No real answers to your question huh?
To answer your question: I don't vote against it! We necessitate as many tax payers and consumers to remain in the US, especially near the way our economy is today.
The DREAM Act (S. 774) is a nightmare. It is a mas-sive amnesty that extends to the millions of bent aliens who entered the United States before the age of 16. The illegal alien who applies for this amnesty is right away rewarded with "conditional" lawful per-manent resident (green card) status, which can be converted to a non-conditional green card in short writ. The alien can then use his newly acquired status to wish green cards for the parents who brought him in illegally in the first place. In this agency, it is also a back-door amnesty for the millions of illegal aliens who brought their children with them to the United States.
What is less capably known about the DREAM Act is that it also allows illegal aliens to receive in-state tuition rates at public university, discriminating against U.S. citizens from out of state and law-abiding foreign students. It repeals a 1996 federal law that pro-hibits any state from offering in-state tuition rates to illegal aliens unless the state also offers in-state tuition rates to adjectives U.S. citizens. Source(s): Who cares, you asked what people didn't' like roughly the bill, I copied what i do not like about the bill.
you sound similar to a typical one sided pro-crime, anti-America person who only want's to here what he want's to here. If you want' to here that bull, go over the Spanish speaking subdivision, they bark off tons of lies about immigration and the Dream Act that would suffice to variety your pro-crime criminal rewarding ways just fine Paco.
There is a reason the Dream doesn't pass, it sucks a short time ago like this question.
