Should'nt Canadian immigration be artificial contained by 2009?
Now there wont be as many jobs as back and people getting laid off, should the government still promote the immigration, or shouldn't they just back off for a while? What do you guys think?

Yes, the U.S. economic situation would seem to indicate that our leaders should not allow immigration contained by any form whatsoever, until the economy improves.
However, our leaders will not do the sensible thing. They will verbs to be influenced by big business, and still allow cheap foreign labor to enter our country to compete with our own job seekers.
At times, it almost looks as though there is a world-wide conspiracy to drive down and verbs base wages for the working class. U.S. unemployment figures support that hypothesis..........
I think immigration could stay the same but nearby should be a decrease in "visitor workers" or "migrant labour" or doesn`t matter what they are calling them these days. Companies are going bust and the people that they have hired from Mexico and Central America are man thrown out of work with no recourse. At the very least here should be a requirement for a company that imports workers to post bond for the price of a return plane ticket. It is simply outrageous that people are brought here, often at some expense to them, and after abandoned after a few months work.
