Can I move to America?
I'm from Canada. Is it possible to move on my own to the states when I am 18 years old? Considering visa's and all that?

Look up "TN Visa" on wikipedia.
Get a university level in one of the fields listed. Then you can look for work contained by the USA.
Otherwise you have to marry a US citizen or have your Canadian employer transfer you to their US department.

My babies father is from Ecuador. He left when I was 5 mo. pregnant and now is trying to contact me. I verbs he may try to 'use' her to get back into the US or get immigration status. What can I do to prevent this? He can't use her to get immigrant status....
