In love and planning to profile for a financial visa and call for proposal. Please answer respectfully & intelligently?

He is possibly one of the best human beings I have ever met hence I have fallen contained by love. That is why we are getting married. While I know that Yahoo answers is not the best resource I would really appreciate smart opinions and answers to my questions to get a broad belief of what I will be dealing with. thank you so much.

I am planning to file for a fiance visa for my boyfriend ( does he have to do that from his country? )
While i.e. being processed I plan to live in my university campus. (will this hurt our chances if I own to prove I can support him? )
(how long will it take for him to be able to come to the US? )
when he arrives we will get married. After the time he is allowed to be here ends what visa or irredeemable residence do I apply for??
and how long will that take??
will that affect the student aid/loans I can get??

Once he is allowed here, will he be able to work/drive/study??

Thank you for your respect-full and clued-up answers. This decision I am planning to make is the most important decree of my life. That is why I am asking and searching everywhere. Couldn't hurt right! Humble thanks from this helpless cheerful. =]
Answers:
1. Yes, he has to process the entire K1 process, interview and visa stamping at US Embassy of his country.

2. As long as you meet the qualification of I-134 for K1 Fiance visa and I-864 for his Adjustment of Status after your marriage to profile green card, you will be fine. By the way the requirements are the evidence of that you make 125% Federal Poverty Line of 2 people, which is minumum of $17,500 a year within most of States. If you don't make that much, you need co-sponsor, such as your parents to sign the form.

3. It depends on the country he has citizenship. It take from 8 months to 2 years to get K1.

4. After he arrives on K1, he has 90 days to get married to you and folder his Adjustment of Status. Sooner the better. He needs to file I-485, I-765, I-131, I-693 and you need to include I-864. The file fee is $1,010. It takes from 8 to 18 months until he gets 2 year conditional green card.

5. Once more, you are the one who have to prove to USCIS that you will be responsible for him financially. So, if you have to take on loans, you definately need co-sponsor for I-864 Affidavit.

6. Once he get EAD or green card, he can apply for Social security card and driver's license. Then he can work, drive, study.

Good luck and be very patient when you are dealing near immigration processing with USCIS.
