Parent submitted I-130 for me. I'm already contained by US on student visa. Should I retribution immigrant visa application fees
My parent is a Permanent Resident. Almost 4 years ago, my parent submitted I-130 for me so that I can immigrate to the US.
After that, I came to the US on a non-immigrant student visa, and I am still in the US.
Recently, I received a letter asking me to recompense $400 for immigrant visa application fees. I'm afraid that once I pay these fees, they will call me for a US embassy interview in a foreign country, while I am within the US.
Should I go ahead and pay the 400 and then loaf to see what happens? If they do give me an interview abroad, will I know how to request moving the interview to the US?
I was also thinking of adjusting my status from here into Permanent Resident, but I don't think that I can do that because I'm on a non-immigrant visa.
Does anybody enjoy advice?
Thank you!

You need to repost, are you over 18 or under?, Married or single? I mingy your dad has been a US resident for 4 years and you are a US CITIZEN yet? You are on the spot family member, that means if you are beneath 18 you get citizenship automatically why you dad didn't petition the whole family? Did he get his P.R. through this employeer or family based or lottery?,. This question its rather difficult to answer because needs more details and this type of situation is not very common. If you are surrounded by the US and entered under a F1 visa, and you are still here because of an EXTENSION and NOT VISA then you are still court here. You can't get a new VISA without visit the EMBASSY, if you filed for a F1 Extension that's what it is, an EXTENSION not a VISA, that;s means your F1 VISa could be expired but your I-94 is still valid for F1 STATUS, when you leave the country your F1 status (EXTENSION) become invalid. You could re-enter if you apply for another F1 VISA. I think you are affraid of not getting back again to the USA regarless of the situation. I think depending of what acountry you are from, you are allowed to resign from for 30 days and comeback without a VISA, (depends on the country) and depends the situation and excuse.
Why you can't adjust your status?, for example if you are a F1 STUDENTS and marries a US CITIZEN you can adjust your status to Permanent Resident.
I WOULD HIGHLY HIGHLY SUGGEST TO SEE AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER OR OFFICER to your nearest USCIS.
Resolved Questions:
When the US President flies in a foreign country on Airforce One, does hold to own his passport stamped?
If not, why do we? Because we have to go through customs and he doesn't. I think he has his vice president take consideration of it the President does not carry his own passport his staff does for him. he does not go queue trough customs...
