Fire my immigration legal representative?? Do I remuneration a remaining go together?

This immigration lawyer is charging me $11,000 for my case, he was completely assuring that my husband would have his permit for work in 9 months to be precise why we were willing to pay this amount. The sunshine that we were to meet with him he talk to us for about 20 minutes and he left his administrative assistant to fill out the contract ( I skilled he would go over the contract with us but didn't) my husband and I started signing away without reading the contracts.
The subsequent day we meet with this secretary to steep out the immigration forms, my husband asked that secretary "so I am going to have a permit for work in nearly 9 months?" she didn't say anything and somehow this lawyer overheard and confronted my husband and told him he never promised anything and he was amazingly loud. When this was over he told his secretary "give me there profile, they signed everything right?? I will get them to sign" and he got us to sign another contract. This was a month ago and we haven't gone stern, because I really didn't think this guy care about our valise. We sign a contract for $200 a month for the next 3 years and he was telling us that he be not going to take money out of his pocket to send our files to INS. We had given him $300 already and he said he needed at least possible $1000. Why tell us that it will be $200 then expect us to come up with $1000. I own a balance of $10,700 what do I do? Please help. I didn't know the laws within CA when it comes to firing a lawyer.

You necessitate to read things before you sign them. He's already done a lot of work on your case, and you owe him money.

What concerned of job do you have here that it's worth paying $11,000 to work for nine months? Please tell me what assignment this is that an American citizen won't or can't do.

.
The $200.00 a month is probably for his excise only. You still have to pay for the fees to folder the forms with immigration beyond that monthly amount. He is correct,to file all the forms near immigration it will initially cost a large amount of money.
It is your responsibility to read the contract before you sign it. It would have avoided alot of problems.
$11.000...? OMG! you should've looked at the contract before u signed. Now he pretty much can do whatever he requirements.Try talking to another lawyer-but those who do the first consultation free and DO NOT sign nothing until you are 1000% sure what's the deal....
Good luck!
Read the contract. Generally the monthy fee does not cover expenses, so the additional $1000 charge is fine. I don't understand the remaining be a foil for, has it already been three years? If not, you may be able to end the contract and pay only for the months that have already passed, but first read the contract!
Is this for an H-1B visa? Do you enjoy a job offer? Because you cannot apply for a work visa without a charge offer. And the employer is supposed to file for the work visa, not you.

And if you did not read a contract you signed, welcome to America. And see what trouble can tight.

It takes many years to get am employment base green card.
You have to honor you contract regardless if you bothered to read it BOTH times you signed it.

You need to sit down and read it now. Sounds close to you are going to pay $11,000 regardless of what happens.

Do you want to hold: a) Smart/regulated borders, b) Closed borders c) Open borders?
Vote please! Thanks. A.- Regulated/Smart borders closed borders. I would say A as I am not against immigration, just a mass immigration of poor, uneducated inhabitants who don't even really want to be Americans, but I don't think it work. Agreed with Roadh, a, but unlikely so b b) Closed...
