I like how some states are cracking down there since the federal government isn't doing anything, adjectives i have to say is Heck Yeah!
I want anchor baby syndrome to stop, it's not helping anyone and it's hurting the kids by have rights here that their parents don't have and yeah, the parents go bye bye to if they get caught and consequently the kids either A. Have to go with them, B. Have to stay here next to family and friends or C. become wards of the state...
YES, I would say NO to ALL ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION.
I see no problem allowing berry pickers, ditch diggers, toilet swipers, or a predetermined number of others that are not pleasant work for most Americans.
Let these positions be filled on minimum wage basis. The people doing this work must NOT bring their family. If they are not here working as labor, they can't be here legally.
The USA is not here to help part time give a hand raise their families. We give them work, the travel home once a year, they can send money back home. We do not need, nor should we enjoy children, older non working people or mothers that have their children near them.
If a woman becomes pregnant, she should be asked to leave. We should STOP anchor baby status at adjectives costs.
I have no problem with folks coming here to work. But if they wish for citizenship, consequently they need to apply as does everyone else.
Also, I am apauled that more than 50% of the LEGAL immigrants we admit are Mexican. Outrageous! There should be a much more divergent divide for citizens all over the world. Limit entrance to any country to 10% Max.
We can and should use their labor but it needs to be controled. This lack of control is because Americans are mortal conned to ultimately allow Mexico, Canada and the USA to be merged.
Americans must rise up and scream bloody murder about this situation NOW or we will be had by the SWINE that aim to control our country and world. Don't allow this stupidity that has been going on. ENOUGH!
There is no middle ground here.
Any compromise would be a defeat for the US and a win for the illegals.

First I thank God that the choice will NEVER be up to any of the people here. I would speak yes to permanent resident alien cards to those already here and have broken no laws except crossing a border we should have closed to begin with. I would speak yes to closing the border, and of course there has to be readiness to meet in the middle and that is how it eventually will be resolved. I would allow the law passed to be upheld with-out prejudice.
The others are correct in that there should be no meeting contained by the middle. There is no reason why I should give something up to someone who is trying to take it a moment ago because i should take into consideration the thief's feelings. America is on the right course now and I hope we will stay on it.
I would really like to see the run out to "automatic" citizenship to babies born in the USA to immigrants, legal or unconstitutional. That is something in itself that is a huge draw for illegal immigration, surrounded by particular. If this was ended, I believe it would dramatically cut adjectives illegal immigration. IF the "guest worker" program included a foolproof guard of some kind to ENSURE that illegals leave after their two years be up, then MAYBE i would go for that!
But these "guest workers" MUST be people that hold NEVER broken our laws, by sneaking into the country, and they must have a thorough background check to ensure that they are not murderers, gang member, child molesters, rapists, drunk drivers,etc!
Then, if after the two years, they show us they can be trusted, and ONLY then, would we consider allowing them to re-enter!!
And, i think we should make it a LAW, that any foreigners from ANY country emigrate to the U.S., should be self- sufficient and NEVER, absolutely NEVER be a burden to taxpayers!!
All of this "meeting surrounded by the middle" BS is what got us into this mess to begin with. I won't turn into a long rephrasing of the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act, but a few points need to be addressed with that ruling in mind.
Indeed, the legislation stipulated several conditions: immigrants had to earnings application fees, learn to speak English, understand American civics, pass a medical exam and register for military selective service. Those near convictions for a felony or three misdemeanors were ineligible. Sound familiar? These are pretty much the same provisions included within the new "meet in the middle" comprehensive immigration redeployment types.
Why do they want to make the same mistake by passing one and the same immigration laws and repeating history?
So here we are, 20 years later, having much impossible to tell apart debate and being offered much the same deal surrounded by exchange for promises largely dependent on the will of future Congresses and presidents that may or may-not be willing to enforce immigration laws.
This is my stance on this issue,
no tentative laws until our leaders can prove that they intend to enforce our current laws. At this point it would be a comprehensive immigration reform to simply enforce our current law....no meeting in the middle.
