After there's Argentina with 0,860, Mexico with 0,847 and Brazil next to 0,807. The HDI combines three basic dimensions:
* Life expectancy at birth, as an index of population health and longevity
* Knowledge and education, as measured by the developed literacy rate (with two-thirds weighting) and the combined primary, secondary, and tertiary gross enrollment ratio (with one-third weighting).
* Standard of living, as measured by the natural logarithm of gross domestic product (GDP) per capita at purchasing power parity (PPP) contained by United States dollars.

Well that merely shows that Chile is the only "developed" country where its people enjoy to convince the whole world that they're really developed otherwise no one would believe it.
