Once a party enter the state as a resident, how long did the persona have to stay since individual competent to travel?
I have a friend that has been here 4 months and she wishes to go back to Colombia for the holidays, the question is how long does she have to wait before she can leave the United States, she is a resident, she is married to a citizen (not a american born citizen), please agree to me know if she is able to travel. This advance approval is called Advance Parole. When you say she is a resident do you aim that she is a Legal Permanent Resident - i.e. a green card holder? If so that she can so anywhere at any time once she has a green card. If she is in the process of applying for her green card through her marriage beside her husband then she can apply for advance parole, which mean you can travel whilst your application is bing processed. If she didn't already apply for credit parole, she is going to have a hard time getting it now beforehand the holidays. LIke I said, if she is already a resident and has her green card she can travel freely without having to verbs.
