Why do Americans hate/ dislike prohibited immigrant so much?
If America is a country made up of immigrants, like irish, german, polish..., why do most Americans think so negativelly towards unsanctioned immigrants. They are just here to earn a good time, by working hard, and then after making a profit, returning to their home country. Not all of them are drug dealing, criminals. I'm individual asking for your opinion, so don't mad and start making rude remarks.

If they did some research, they'd find out that it certainly helps because if they're illegal, they're working, working for less, they still discharge taxes on things, just not everything and most of the unclaimed money from taxes is money unclaimed by illegal immigrants. However that doesn't net it right. Immigrants should come over legally. They can still send money home, I'm an American living in Canada and married to a Canadian and he sends money to my American hill account to pay on my American student loans and credit cards. It justs takes a few months to catch a work visa. First of all, it's not just America. It seems that America get the short end of the stick, because we have more immigrants that any other country. 2nd we don't can`t bear immigrants, we are just tired of paying taxes for people that come to this country, to use the welfare system, have a bunch of kids, and not giving anything back. Most of them, don't even try to learn English. When they move in the community, they bring their fruitless habits with them. for ex: throwing trash in the streets, or somewhere they feel like, their kids have no manners what so ever, and they are loud. I'm not taliking just about all the immigrants, but the majority are that way. Where I live we enjoy a beautiful lake, or at leat it was charming until the immigrants start it to move in, now it looks resembling a ghetto lake. No matter how big the trash cans are, they other to seem to miss, that includes diappers, beer cans, leftover food etc.. You know that if they do that surrounded by Canada, England or any other country they will not get away with it, and they have to revise the language.
I, for one, don't detest illegal immigrants. That doesn't mean I agree near what they're doing however. Yes, America was built on immigration, but the vast majority of said immigration was LEGAL and didn't impair our country financially. I don't think that illegal immigrants are bleak people. A lot of them are just trying to earn a living so they can support their families. The problem is their methods. In directive to feed their families they are breaking an American law that if enforced help prevent overpopulation, helps keep wages for legal U.S. citizens at a clothed level, etc. Good intentions don't mean that breaking a law isn't wrong. Not solitary that, but my ancestors were legal immigrants to this country. They have to go through a long, difficult, and expensive process to legally become U.S. citizens and were law-abiding, tax-paying citizens their entire lives. That said, it make me a little mad when people suggest in recent times handing illegal immigrants citizenship. It would be a smack within the face to people like my ancestors that chose to abide by American statute by going through legal processes to automatically give someone citizenship just because they be able to cross a border without getting caught. I'm not saying that programs shouldn't exist to eventually bequeath illegal immigrants citizenship as quite frankly nearby are too many now to ever hope of sending back. These programs should require that these unsanctioned immigrants work pretty darn hard for it though.
EDIT: A legal immigrant is one that have applied with the proper gov't agency or department for U.S. citizenship, has gone through the appropriate legal process, and have been deemed a legal citizen by the U.S. gov't. Benefits to doing this include not have to worry about getting deported, being eligible for better healthcare (a decriminalized citizen can apply for something other than the very basic plan, the moniker eludes me, that is given to those that are illegal or simply cannot afford better insurance), the talent to apply to a U.S. college or University and obtain a degree usable in the U.S. (Mexican university do foreign exchange programs, but a person would still be obtaining a Mexican degree fully valid lone in Mexico or countries that fully accept Mexican degrees), the ability to apply for job beyond those at the very low-end of the payscale (ones that actually offer benefits such as remunerated sick and vacation leave, a retirement plan, etc.), and many other benefits afforded a citizen agreed as legal by the U.S. gov't. Oh, and as a legal citizen they would be paying taxes, speeding tickets, etc. Overall it seems a bit inefficient to me. They want to earn American dollars, but they don't want to become a legal citizen, not hurt our country financially in the long run, and live a better life here fruitless enough that they're willing to go through the citizenship process and afterwards have to pay for things that American citizens are required to and abide by U.S. laws. Bottom file: if you want to work long-term for American dollars, you need to be a U.S. citizen. They can't have their cake and eat it too. When citizens come into the United States legally, we are able to make sure they are able-bodied, have not committed criminal acts in their home country and are polite for the U.S.
People feel resentful of illegal immigrants because they do not retribution into government programs but take from them and then constraint more.
Americans are also losing jobs to illegals. Not only in crop growing and construction, but also because the American does not speak the language of the illegal fluently enough.
There is also the crime part as someone else posted.
Language is another concern. Many illegals flat out refuse to learn English and demand that we speak their vocalizations.
Gifted and talented programs, music, art and gym are all cut to fund ESL programs. Educational quality drops due to overcrowded classrooms and kids who don't speak the words.
It also doesn't help when you hear illegals and their children saying things like "F*** America!" (which I routinely hear while volunteering at my son's school) or dragging our flag through the dirt - adjectives while demanding more, more, more from Americans.
And they do NOT go home. We have an estimated 12 - 20 MILLION illegal immigrant in the United States and they have millions upon millions of children (at taxpayer expense) who are now considered U.S. citizens that U.S. taxpayers support through AFDC and other programs.
I don't hatred illegals, but these are a few reasons I would like to see all subsidies for unofficial immigrants stopped and birthright citizenship ended.
