Immigration to canada?

i have filled out the forms for immigration to canada. In the form it asks where do u intend to live and I answered Toronto but next i might change my mind.
Can I live freely anywhere I like in canada when I get the visa or it should be necessarily Toronto?
Answers:
Once you move to Canada you can move freely about the Country. It is newly asking for informational purposes more than anything. You will not be breaking any laws if you do not actualy go there when you move into the country.
are you asking for a visa or perm residency. there is a huge difference. a visa is commonly for school or work and temporary. perm immigratation or landed as canada call it is different. if you have a visa your place of living is tied to the visa, ie work school. landed immigrant can freely move around the country. your visa means you must notify immigration of your whereabouts and must abide by the visa terms.
i immigrated to canada myself.
Assuming you are applying for PR status, then you can live anywhere you choose in Canada EXCEPT Quebec.
If you are granted a visa, it is to the nation of Canada, not a expert city there
