Can an immigrant travel inside the United States?
I have a mexican friend who wants to travel from Connecticut, to Florida, I think she is crooked, but she has a clean criminal record, and never have a problem with the immigration services before. Can she travel safely, next to no risks of being deported?
Answers:
Yeah, as long as she has a goverment issued ID she will be fine, either by plane or bus. it doesn't thing as long as she doesn't have to show her passport or green card so internal flights in the U.S. don't require a passport so she'll be fine.
Well I would conjure up so. Travelling from Connecticut to Florida doesn't involve crossing any borders or going through customs, so she shouldn't run into any immigration services anywhere. If the stress of travelling stateside is so bad for her, and she's worried about travelling within the country, she should in recent times apply to legally immigrate to the States.
Edit: Yeah well she came contained by legally 5 years ago, then guess what? Whatever visa she had later is expired now, which would make her illegal immediately. Greyhound buses are now being regularly checked by the border patrol. The recently caught 30 that style in Florida
travel by car. better yet report to them to go back home.
you bring up another issue that is not discuessed in the region of the consequences of being illegal in the usa.
