Once I receive married within Canada, can I come subsidise to US to dally for work grant?
Once I get married in Canada, can I come back to US to hang about for work permit? Most of the people would like to stay next to their spouse and so am I; however, I don't want to put more weight on my wife's shoulder in order to sponsor me so I would still approaching to work and earn some money in the US before I get to work within Canada. Is it possible? Or I need to stay in Canada to receive my work permit?
Answers:
Outland application: You can move about back to the US and work, visit your wife when you want, if you are approved, you will have your PR (permanent residency) contained by 5-10 months. If they are suspicious of your application, they will call you in for an interview (in the US). If you are denied, you can appeal, takes roughly a year.
Inland application: You have to stay in Canada, strongly advised to not even travel while surrounded by process. You apply for a work permit with your application, if you are approved, you will have your work charter in 6-7 months and PR in 12-18 months. If they are suspicious of your application, they will transfer your database to the local office without giving you a work permit. Getting an interview next to the local office depends on how busy they are but can take up to 3 years in some places.
Immigration thinking that your relationship is not tangible can happen regardless. You have to send immigration the information to prove that your relationship is real. If you have a good application, you will be approved. I unquestionably do not think they will assume your relationship is not real just because you can't afford to sit within Canada without working for 6-7 months.
You do need to go home (USA) to apply for an outside spousal visa - they are anyone processed quite quickly ( 6 to 9 months) and you get to maintain working while you wait. Your wife can come and visit you while the application is being processed.
If you do enter Canada, you would be much better past its sell-by date staying in Canada. Sure you cannot work for several months of processing, but once you have passed the first stage of approval, you qualify fior an open work authorization and work for anyone you choose. Processing for inside applications are currently taking between 1 and 2 years but at least you are together. The wife must have a job and income contained by order to sponsor you.
About not being a burden on the spouse - well she cannot sponsor you unless she have a job and income anyway - so she is more or less REQUIRED to support you and the marriage whether you live near her or not.
It actually looks a lot better if you do live with her. Sure you cannot work for some of that time, but thats factor of marriage. You need to SHOW CIC that your marriage is honest. You scuttling off home after you get married does NOT show that you are realistically in love and wanting to make a home and live together.
On those grounds your application may be denied.
